Sophomore Year Experience 2020-2021

The Luckyday Sophomore Year Experience Program at The University of Mississippi is designed to help Luckyday Scholars begin to plan for when they complete their degree. The sophomore experience program builds upon the foundation set by the Luckyday freshman year experience. Luckyday has partnered with The University of Mississippi Career Center and Campus Landscape Services to provide professional development opportunities for Luckyday Scholars.  Luckyday sophomores will participate in the following activities in fall 2020 and spring 2021:

  • Sophomore Meeting (Friday, August 28, 2020 at 4:00p.m. via zoom)
  • Sophomore Professional Review and Interest Navigation Training (SPRINT) Meeting (October 15, 2020 at 6:00p.m.)
  • Enroll in EDHE333 – Luckyday Forum Class for Spring 2021 –  Class meets every Thursday evening in Spring 2020 from 6-7 p.m.  EDHE333 Course components include:
    • Cover Letter and Resume Development
    • Interviewing Skills Training
    • Mock Interviewing Experience
    • Etiquette Dinner
    • Community Partnership Team Project
    • Leadership Case Studies Exploration
    • Attendance at Junior Project Symposium in April 2021
